In the Pepsi Capital Rugby Union (CRU) in Port Moresby city, the men’s competitions have entered a crucial stage following Round 15, with the latest results reshaping the standings and intensifying the race for finals spots across all divisions.
Valley Hunters have moved to the top of the Premier Grade ladder with 44 competition points after defeating Juggernauts, taking advantage of Wanderers’ upset victory over Brothers. MBB Marlins now sit just one point behind on 43 while Brothers remain close on 42, leaving only two points separating the top three teams.
Harlequins continue to occupy fourth place on 30 points after securing a win, while Nova strengthened their finals hopes by edging University. Wanderers’ victory over Brothers has also added further intrigue to the race as teams battle for a place in the Top Four.
